Music Composer for Visual Media



Originally from Los Angeles County, Kristine Bernabe is a composer for visual media based in New York, NY. She composes electronic and orchestral music for indie dramas, animation, television, games, and much more.

Background


As a child growing up in a quiet suburb, Kristine naturally gravitated towards creative endeavours such as drawing, piano, singing, movies, and books. These interests soon developed into a passion for film scores, soundtracks, and film. After finishing her undergraduate degree at UC Irvine, Kristine is now pursuing a Master of Music in Screen Scoring at New York University.  

Influences


Her main influences are Ludwig Göransson, Ramin Djawadi, Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross, Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer, Natalie Holt, Jon Brion, Nicholas Britell, and scores from Rockstar Games such as The Music of Grand Theft Auto V Vol. 2 and Red Dead Redemption 2.

Outside of film, she makes indie electronic music inspired by artists like Toro y Moi, Tame Impala, and J Dilla.
